Rene E. Niese is
a Managing Partner at Applied Financial Resources,
LLC. The firm specializes in assisting senior management
in corporate growth and development for its clients.
Mr. Niese has over 30 years of experience in a variety
of industries. His experience has been in strategic
planning, debt
and equity financing, business valuations, management
training and business transitioning. He
has provided financial and business crisis consulting
support to clients, financial institutions and equity
investors and has provided consulting for lenders
requiring a “hands on” approach. He also
has provided cash management and debt/equity expansion
and restructuring for growing companies. Mr. Niese
has served as interim CEO, COO and CFO for various
mid- to long-term projects.
He has researched and
prepared business valuations to support
client expansion and strategies plans.
He has also provided transition
planning and corporate financial planning for senior
management and private corporate ownership. Other
specialties include succession and continuation planning
and management training for key client principals.
He is a past board member of
the Associates of the National Agricultural Library,
Washington, D.C.,
past board member of the Iowa Business and Industry,
and past President of a community Chamber of Commerce
and Rotary Club. He is a Certified Financial Planner
with degrees from Xavier University and The Ohio
State University and is an instructor for the University
of Phoenix Online. He served as Vice President of
an Organization marketing over $600 million annually.
He has also represented an organization during the
GATT pre-trade agreement negotiations.
